This new way of working, in addition to granting independence and promoting the DIY philosophy, reduces the time it takes to acquire new typefaces and frees the user from dependence on third-party supplies and external printers. It also encourages new users to use the technique and prevents current users from working with incomplete or damaged fonts.
This liberation, applied as a social value, could also be useful in bringing movable type and letterpress to places where they have never existed before.
It could also be the beginning to recover work ethics and maintain a historical and cultural legacy that letterpress offers.
